The AVERE E-Mobility Conference 2024 aims to delve into pivotal aspects of urban mobility.

Lawmakers are shaping a new era by setting an end date for the internal combustion engine within the next decade. This visionary step paves the way for electric vehicles (EVs) to take the centre stage on European roads, heralding a cheaper, cleaner and leaner future.

AVERE, the European Association for Electromobility, wholeheartedly welcomes this commitment. It is a monumental leap toward reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, and accelerating sustainable mobility.

While establishing a clear end date for combustion engines is a crucial milestone, it is equally vital to address the essential enablers that will empower the industry. Let’s collaboratively bridge the gap towards creating a future-proof and optimal electromobility ecosystem.

In this pivotal moment, AEC 2024 emerges as a crossroads for industry, consumers, and government to unite and elevate electromobility to the next level. AEC 2024 stands on five foundational pillars that will underpin a seamless transition to zero-emission mobility.

Each of these pillars will be explored through dynamic panel discussions, roundtables, and side events featuring prominent decision-makers, industry leaders, academics and representatives of the EV consumer community.

Monaco

Since 1994, the Principality of Monaco has been pursuing an incentivizing policy for electric mobility. Initially, it began as a subsidy primarily targeting electric vehicles registered under company names. Subsequently, it was expanded to include private individuals in 2002 and hybrid vehicles in 2004. In 2003, Monaco had very few electric or hybrid vehicles, but data from that period is not available. However, 20 years later, significant progress has been made.

In 2006, in continuation of this event, through the recently created MC2D association, Monaco organized the EVER Forum on electric vehicles, clean mobility, energy efficiency, and renewable energies.

Furthermore, a working group was established in parallel to meet 2-3 times a year to discuss the subject with various stakeholders in mobility in the Principality, including public authorities, civil society, and operators.

It is a specialized networking solution that allows delegates to easily search for specific criteria, connect with selected experts before or during the event, then meet in a dedicated meeting zone with AEC by arranging one-to-one speed business meetings.

Doing so is extremely simple because it operates within the AEC2023 event app and enables Sponsors and Supporters to organize their Speed Business Meetings. To prevent double-bookings, the dedicated service allows delegates to visualize Sponsor and Supporter commitments and their available onsite meeting time slots. Any delegate with a public profile on the event app can schedule AVERE Speed Business Meetings with our Sponsors and Supporters.
